Comments in the margin
Press ⌃⌘M, or Comments at the top right, and every comment is written out beside its passage, so you can read a whole round of feedback at once. Claude Code, Codex and other agents can now leave comments of their own, marked ✦: ask for feedback and they comment instead of editing your text.

The lighthouse
The keeper climbed the tower every evening at six, long before the light was needed.
Is this the point of the piece? Say it earlier.
There were a hundred and twelve steps, very many and very steep.
Two “very”s in a row. The number already says it; “steep” is enough.
That night the storm came in from the north without warning.
The turn to the storm is sudden. One sentence of setup would help.
He lit the lamp early and stayed at the top, listening to the sea take the rocks one by one.
When a new version is ready, a button appears at the bottom of the sidebar. Click it and Iliad saves your work and restarts on the new version; if you never click, it updates when you quit. 0.6.1 made the built-in AI write plainer, and 0.6.2 shows the download’s progress on the button.
Settings moved to the bottom of the sidebar. The built-in AI now reads the whole document and the writing preferences you give it once, and untitled documents name themselves after you start writing.
Iliad stopped carrying its own agent and started working with yours. When Claude Code, Codex or any other tool edits your folder, every change shows in the page, chunk by chunk, and you keep it or restore your version. Comments became plain files next to each document, and the iliad command lets agents find the document you have open.
